Piano Lessons
Piano provides a foundation in music fundamentals.
In fact, students seeking university degrees in all other instruments must take piano lessons as part of their degree program.
Piano is the most comprehensive instrument for any musician.
Piano lessons at an early age teach the fundamentals of note reading, rhythmic notation and dictation, basic principles of harmony, and establish a universal technique of understanding deeper levels of music theory, composition and arrangements.
In the piano lessons at the Elmhurst Music Academy, we teach theory, note reading, music of different styles, and encourage students to write their own compositions.
